Katherine Brethower




Katherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her master’s degree from Avila University in Counseling Psychology. She has experience working with survivors of domestic violence, as well as individuals and families who have experienced complex trauma and life transitions.


As your therapist, Katherine wants to create a space for your voice and story to feel heard and unconditionally accepted. She is passionate about helping individuals and families to experience a greater sense of hope and healing by working collaboratively to find the tools that fit their individual needs.

Katherine will use her experience and training to carefully consider a variety of therapy approaches, such as EMDR, CBT, Solution-focused brief therapy, and emotionally focused therapy to help you navigate through the various seasons of life.
