Grace Brandt - Licensed Master Social Worker

Licensed Master Social Worker

I am a Licensed Master of Social work (LMSW), and I received my Bachelor’s of Social Work, and Clinical Master’s of Social Work at The University of Kansas (KU), School of Social Welfare. During my time at KU, I also obtained certificates in Service Learning and Global Awareness.

I value building authentic and therapeutic relationships with each of my clients, as well as creating a safe and comfortable place for you to heal and grow. I believe in utilizing a strengths-based approach to empower my clients to work towards achieving their therapeutic goals and find success in their personal lives.

I have experience working with a diverse population of clientele. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. More specifically, I have had additional experience working with children and adolescents who are diagnosed with autism and intellectual and developmental disorders. I have worked with individuals in both the community mental health setting and several inpatient hospital settings.

I’m trained in several different psychotherapy modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT).
